A Daily Devotional – Ephesians – Personal Meditation (1)

A Daily Devotional – Ephesians – Personal Meditation

Comment: It is important to have some thought about where our thoughts are! We, if we are saved by the grace of God are called to “newness of life”, a life never lived by us before being saved. In this newness, God has called us to walk in His love, to walk in His light, to walk in Wisdom. Lastly, He has called us to honor marriage as it is a picture of Christ and His Church. Sadly, the church in Christendom today is failing in the upward and high call of God in Christ; mainly this is due to leaderships that seek to teach people to clean up their flesh by keeping the law, rather than to live in the NEWNESS that God has provided, In Christ alone!

Devotional: This morning as I do not have much time; all of the things that provide for godly living are listed in Paul’s epistle to the Ephesians, please take the time to read, study and meditate on this book. Through the Cross and the willingness of Christ/Messiah we were brought near to God by His blood, without the shedding of blood there is NO remission of sin, so if you have not trusted in God’s provision, then you still experience, NO peace with God.

Why is this true? Ephesians 2:14-18 explains readily, “Christ/Messiah” is our Peace. Christ has broken down the wall that separated us from the knowledge of God. He alone has abolished this wall; the wall is the law of commandments and ordinances that prevents us from knowing God because it is impossible to please God by keeping the law. Grace comes to be the only avenue to God. As it is; by grace comes salvation through faith.

We will do more if God permits with this epistle to the Ephesians in the coming days,
