A Word from Papa “J”
The Holy Bible explains that one can have a loving relationship with wisdom. The Hebrew definition of this word; love is the same kind of love that one has of a friend. The friendship of one who is closer to you than a brother, show yourself friendly to wisdom; it is the right path. Proverbs 8:17 and Proverbs 18:24
Good Morning
Have you ever thought about what God thinks, or have you ever considered the value of God’s thoughts? We read the Holy Bible… at least I hope this is true of you! But in the framework of our thoughts which are somewhat selfish and critical we tend to box in the thoughts and values of God.When we do this we either expand God to the point of being a master magician, or squeeze Him down to nothing more than a blip on the radar screen like the coming of Santa Clause on the eve of Christmas. What? I don/t do any of that you say! Really! Our God says that there is no exception. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9.
Also, God thinks about you personally and continually, He does not sleep or slumber in this toward you. Moses writes in Psalm 139:17-18 that the thoughts of God toward him are precious and great are the sum of His thoughts. If Moses could count the sand of the earth, he would still not reach the total number of God’s thoughts about him.
Think about this! The atheist says “there is no God” and his or her mind will continually seek to prove the non-existence of our Creator. The religions of the world say that a god exists but that he or she is found in a tree or is the moon or some other object that has been created by God. Then there is the moral and immoral man or woman who worship themselves or some abusive substance, thus their gods are constantly in view and craved.
The point is that MANKIND thinks about God all of the time whether he or she likes it or knows it. God has placed eternity in the hearts of all peoples, but they fail to find out His working thoughts about them, Ecclesiastes 3:9-15. Thus the thoughts of God toward mankind and the thoughts of mankind toward God are a closed system as Solomon indicates here in verses 14-15.
God will require an account in the future; just as Hebrews 9:27-28 promises, our appointment to death is not the end, it is the beginning, Christ Jesus was offered to the many who think eagerly upon God as He eagerly thinks upon them. His thoughts are to separate us from sin and place us in the kingdom of the Son of His love. “Are you ready for some SALVATION GLORIFICATION?
