A Thought for the Day – 001
Giving more thought to the thought that I thought this past week, I think that it is well past the day when change is needed if I am to continue sending out a daily expression or challenge from the Living Word of God. It seems that for whatever reason I have drifted away from circumstance and humor for a more intense look at the Word of God.
So with that said, let us see what sort of thing develops from this fresh start?
In a dim light a person cannot distinguish color. Give it a try sometime! Color only appears in brighter light. This is because of cones at the back of the eye, which see color in bright light. So giving this some thought this morning I was reminded of the apostle Paul who stated in 1 Corinthians 13:12 that we see the love of God through a dark glass or a mirror, depending on the version you read from and this thought encouraged me as I hope it will you.
Our world is riddled with the blight of evil, darkened so that very little light shines through, even when we are saved and begin to understand that God loves us, we are still surrounded by undistinguished color. The apostle goes on to say that the gifts that will clear away the darkness of evil are the gifts of God that provide good LIGHT. Faith, hope and love and love being the brightest; such thoughts overwhelm my soul with joy. I hope this as well for you.
