You might say that Americans have lost their sweet words; like “The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave”. These words are not lost, but are misplaced. Proverbs 1:20-23 and 2 Kings 22:1-20 and 23:1-25

 

Good Morning

 

2 Corinthians 6:1-10 – Reading along through the scripture and pointing out the things that the Holy Spirit brings to light will often have a direct input to some area that needs to be reckoned with in my personal life as a believer in the Lamb who is also the Christ of God.

 

If you believe in Jesus, like me you came to this belief by faith at the time appointed and this gift of grace from God was not received in vain. On that day God helped you and me into a right relationship with Him by adopting us as sons and daughters. Ephesians 1:5

 

The depth of the Wisdom of God to accomplish this in all those who come to God by grace through faith is overwhelmingly a joyful experience. Yet it is equally an overwhelming mystery that cannot be explained to the world, unless the Holy Spirit intervenes. 1 Corinthians 2:1-16.

 

Here is the Rub! Many of us bring with us into the kingdom of heaven the excess baggage of unbelief and this causes the Law of love to stumble in the eyes of us within the kingdom (the church); and the eyes of the unbelieving neighborhood (the kingdom of the world) to reject what they see. Romans 14:14-23

 

Now I am not saying as some may wish to believe that I am against agape feasts or any other fellowship within a local, I have no such thoughts and if one does, then it is these who think in this way that are not walking in love. Now if anyone is in Christ he or she is a new creation, created in the love that speaks to every individual. “For God so loved the world that He gave”

 

The apostle Paul clearly shares with you and me that salvation is proven to the world around us when we give no offense in anything pertaining to life in Christ and godliness in the Spirit 2 Corinthians 6:3-10 and we will look at this holiness on Monday if the LORD permits.

 

In the course of the weekend, have a time of rest, a time of fellowship with your brothers and sisters in the LORD and a time of prayer and training in the things that pertain to life; life in Christ! Since there no life in the world apart from HIM 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
