The Devotional - R020

The Devotional

Comment:

I spent a few years reconciling the records of various naval bases and installations located in New England. You may be amazed (or not) at the amount of government waste that is readily observable if you are assigned to this task. For example: Would you spend eight dollars for a nylon/rubber “O” ring, costing the manufacturer less than a dollar to stamp out? The major temptation for most, was to spend down the annual budget, so you could get the same or more next year? Would you purposely cause others offices or department to go without, while you pampered the leadership with lemon drop candies and magazines of lust and filth? These are just a few of the discrepancies the team of people I worked with found as we sought to return (reconcile) these bases and installations back to its original image; an image falsely presented to the public eye, even today.

As humans; that is our own self-being we too have gone astray. Isaiah 53:6 - All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all. When it comes to reconciling us back to the Love of God – Isaiah and Paul express to you and me that God is so interested in your soul and mine, that He has not withheld; even Himself to bring us back to His image, even death and His bodily resurrection from the dead. The cross did not bear a mere man like you or me; God Himself, became a human being – Psalm 40:6-8 and Hebrews 10:5-9.

Challenge: Romans 5:6-11
Some of the most precious Words of the Holy Bible are found in Romans chapters five through seven, but this is not all we should read or study as the entire Word of the Living God is the Power of God’s Love directing you and me to His Son. From Genesis to Revelation we are tenderly admonished and eagerly sought to be conformed to Jesus. By the way; God is always pointing us back to our original position. His Image and Likeness – Note: Genesis 1:26-28.

Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

God proves His Love for you and me, in that while we are still sinners; Christ (The Messiah) died for us. the Greek word “Christ” is MESSIAH, the joy that fills my soul is overwhelming, knowing that God thinks so much of me and not only me but you as well that through the Power of the Holy Spirit speaking to the apostle Paul speaks clearly – MESSIAH (God) died for us! So the Blood of Jesus Christ, while we were enemies is the cleansing agent or reconciling power to return us to God’s original PLAN – made in His Image.

So I shall always stand – AMAZED in the presents of JESUS the MESSIAH! The Nazarene! Yes the only sinless human. The Messiah! Yes the only TRUE and Living God.
