The Devotional - Prayer and Meditation

Comment:
Think for a second or two! What would it be like if God’s Word, Commands, Laws, Precepts, Statutes, Judgments and Love were periodically subjected to change! The thought of this is chilling, to say the least!

Devotional:
Psalm 119:89 –FOREVER, O LORD, Your Word is settled in heaven. As such; God the Father is the Administer of all the activities and unity of controlling the heavens and the earth. The words “all in all” in this verse literally mean, the action of “All things” – 1 Cor 12: 6. God the Son is the Administer of all ministries activities of Faith, in and of God. – 1 Cor12:5 and Heb 12:2. God the Holy Spirit enables God’s children with Power to reveal the activities of God in Creation. To to perform the work of the ministries of Jesus and last but in no ways least, to Guide each child of God by grace into the Word of Truth - 1 Cor 12:7, John 14:15-18 and 16:13.

The operation of God in the words “all and all” (vs 6) is that all things are settled. All things are fixed and laid out before the foundation of the heavens and earth were created. What would it be like if God said to wisdom, “Oops, I should not have created this object, so Wisdom you need to make a “pen and ink” change!

Whether we understand this or not does not change the fact that the Wisdom of God is also subject to the “all and all” of God and since God does not change the wisdom of God is a master craftsman (Proverbs 8:30-36). There is even the sense that Wisdom is raised up to be an obedient Son, the words “master craftsman” in Hebrew carries this thought of soundness and unchangeableness to the Fathers Will. Proverbs 8:1-36. Prudence is the product of obedience and sound judgment (vs12). This my brothers and sisters is simply comfort to our souls. While our intellect may fume or fuss over God’s unchangeable Character in time we can shout AMEN that the Word of God true and does not change.

How is it that we can love God’s Word and His Wisdom in “All things”?

1.      We must believe the Gospel of God and that He alone is the rewarder of all who are saved to seek Him, He will never leave us or forsake us… there will be no “pen and ink” change; Jesus is the LAMB and we are the children of the LAMB that was slain before the foundation of the word was laid. Eph 1:3-14.

2.      By the Administrator of “all things” God the Father speaking through Isaiah in Isa 40:8 says the grass withers and the flower fades, but the Word of the LORD stands forever. Why?  Because like God, His Word is as everlasting as He is eternal. The Holy Bible cannot be changed; it is not a religion. The Holy Bible is and always will be the WORD of GOD.

3.      Therefore, life in the gospel of Christ becomes a conduct of RIGHTEOUSNESS and worthiness in God, by those with willing faith to stand fast in the grace of God in Christ, in one Spirit, with one mind (the mind of Christ, 1 Cor 1:16) by faith. Phil 1:27-30.

4.      Finally - Knowing God through His Word by faith. It is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6) this then becomes the first step in loving God.
