The Devotional
– 1015 – Oppression and the Wisdom of God
We live in a challenging world
today (as if you did not know it) yet the rich and the poor has this one thing
in common; the LORD is the maker of them all, Proverbs 22:2. A good name is no
longer chosen and people seek to grab riches instead of loving favor, Proverbs
22:1. Thus we have “weepers and howlers” today who see the end of things, their
garments fail because of unqualified labor, their gold and silver is corroded
with economical inflation and social and government programs that fleece the
wealth of the rich and the poor. Also there are those who call themselves
non-profit, but daily solicit and fleece the middle-class of saved resources. No
longer are the lawns and country-side fields and woods maintained; the beauty
of the nation has disintegrated to the words of Proverbs 24:3-34 and the ears
of the LORD of peace have heard enough. Yes the heart of man these days is “FAT”
and ready for the slaughter.

and Challenges:
James
5:1-6
Oppression is nationwide, the
national debt is beyond redemption, also government, corporate and moral
management of life is near total collapse. Yet we rush on actually raving of
better times ahead, yet we carry forward with no hope, no plan and no future. We
live on the earth in our little corner, believing in a failing system. We allow
our culture to be changed by peoples of other cultures who change our language
and steal our freedoms.
Our pleasures and luxuries have
fattened our lifestyle, we are obese and in ill health. We are ready for
slaughter as meat that is no longer table food, but meat for the dogs. The
religious counterfeit systems are devouring our lands, our children and our
purpose for living. Some may be saying, “OH BOSH! HOGWASH or some other quip,
but folks it is TRUE, our nation stands before the open abyss and ready to willingly
plunge in.
We as a nation have murdered the
unborn, condemned the just, approved the unjust and the resistance to these
crimes against the human who is made in the image and likeness of God has
reached the ears of the LORD of PEACE. While we think that He is asleep, we
carry on like an uncontrolled adulterant in that our pathway is now totally
impure thus there is very little resistance. The more I think on these things the more
saddened I am, yet I say as Job says: “For I know that my REDEEMER lives, and
He shall stand at last on the earth” Job 19:25.
