The Devotional Jhn24

The Devotional
Comment: Lately I have been thinking about nations divided, like North and South Korea, North and South Vietnam and even Israel and Judah also in geographical position of North and South. Israel is one nation today but in earlier times the division between the two entities was mostly, political. For Korea and Vietnam the same holds true in that governments chose how to lead their populations. Israel the Northern kingdom chose politically to ignore God the Creator, while Judah the Southern kingdom chose to do right in the sight of the LORD. National leadership caused its citizens to follow the lead of the kings. If you read the Bible; Second Kings and the twenty-five chapters will explain a lot about this division. Even though Israel is reunited as One Nation today, it is still under the Divine Discipline of God. Israel today rejects God, but accepts religion. The government of Israel accepts every religion known to man. Israel will remain under the watchful eye of God, and will not return to Him until every eye in Israel looks to the heavens and proclaims these words found in Luke 13:35 See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!'

The information below is an excerpt from Wiki-pedia regarding the religions that freely and openly operate in Israel. More than 30 religions.
Judaism

Druze; Bahá'í and Samaritans

Other
Hinduism; Buddhism; Black Hebrews; Neopaganism; Irreligion; Evolution and the freedom to be any religion you can dream up.

Challenge: John 7:1-9Religion and government are Satan’s main attraction and distraction from the true and Living God. Religion is on the face of every human being in one form or another and religion is the driving force of every political entity, even down to the families of every household in every community and country. Even the family of the LORD Jesus, while being a national Jew relied on Judaism and the Sanhedrin religion rather than facing the TRUTH. So the LORD makes this comment.

John 7:6-9 – Then Jesus said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its (religious) works are evil. You go up to this feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, for My time has not yet fully come." When He had said these things to them, He remained in Galilee.

Jesus is the Truth and the Light to and of the world – if you look to Him you will see that the world around you is full of evil (religious) works. A biblical definition of evil works is anything that distracts humans and nations from the True and Living God. A brief study of the 10 commandments located in Deuteronomy 5 will prove this. While John 14:1-6 shows everyone who is doubtful that Jesus Christ/Messiah is who He says He is. Will not and cannot come to the Father because Jesus is the only and true way.
