Devotional - From birth to death

Devotional

Comment: I like to work with wood or refurbish old furniture, this has not been true my whole life so it could be age. Time teaches us patience, and patience teaches us discipline, also God has placed everything for man to do under the sun and in order. From beginning to end Solomon writes; “A time to be born and a time to die” Ecclesiastes 3:2 the chronology appears in each verse from verse 2 through 8 however the events are not, such as a time to love and a time to hate, verse 8, can happen at any time (and more than once) within the timeframe of birth to death. The task of man under the sun is temporal, thus he should eat, drink and enjoy the good of all his labor – it is the gift of God. Also, God has placed “ETERNITY” in the hearts of every person, life and labor in “BIBLICAL CONTEXT” will determine one’s eternal future. John 10:1-18.

Devotional: Psalm 119:73-80 – Your hands have made me and fashioned me: Give me understanding that I may learn Your Commandments. Generations of people have come and gone without the understanding of how to live life. Recently someone in their forties said to me, “my life and lives of my family are a mess, no one ever gave me the instruction book on life, it is too late now to correct all the wrong”. Maybe his last statement is true for him, but than again... maybe not.

In this we seek to find blame; blame it on the nation, blame it on tradition or religion, blame it on parents, but whatever you do… “DO NOT BLAME IT ON ME!” One’s eye will fail today with all of the material available in books, “you tube videos” and the various other avenues of reality experiences, but seldom will you find someone say to God… “My eyes fail from searching Your Word” Psalm 119:82.

Today it is common to see no fear in the unconverted heart,  people are not glad when we converse with them about Jesus Christ/Messiah. Seeking to offer to everyone we meet “hope in God” yet in their lack of hope they quickly talk over us. This is affliction for any child of God, we know and understand that God’s Judgments are RIGHT, we also know and understand that the failure in the life of the unbelieving is due to a lack of biblical understanding, yet and again we are afflicted by their “over talking attitude toward God’s love, mercy and redemption”.

So the responsibility of blame is not on a nation, a religion, a tradition or parents, or lastly in the sharing of TRUTH. The blame is on the PRIDE of every individual man, woman and child who willingly rejects God for a "you tube" experience. A prideful heart in God’s sight is a heart of sin. God is tender in mercy (willing to forgive), His Laws are delightful (ready to heal), His kindness is comforting (ready to provide peace). In all God remains faithful (He is trustworthy).

Regarding the Statutes of God we who trust in God through Jesus Christ know that our heart is made blameless, this causes us joy beyond words, and thus we are not be ashamed, we have believed message of the only instruction book provided to mankind that provides hope for the NOW and hope for the FUTURE. The Holy Bible! Jesus Christ/Messiah is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Life without Christ/Messiah is Lost, a Lie and Death. John 14:1-6. God’s Spirit is in the world today convicting the world of this truth, see John 16:5-15.
