Now I know little to nothing about the ability to cross-bred fruits and
vegetables. But when I looked at ‘google’ I saw the “tangelo” (tangerine and
grapefruit) and the “tom-tato” (a tomato and potato) combination developed by someone
in the UK. I believe it will always be more productive to purchase a tomato and a potato,
or a tangerine and a grapefruit to mix a melody of appealing foods for consumption.
Rather than altering the genetics of plants, that when produced and matured look
unnatural and have only the ability to tease the appetite. As a test of man’s
free will; God placed four types of trees in the Garden of Eden (Garden of Delight),
One: Pleasant to the eyes; Two: Good for food; Three: The Tree of Life; Eternal
(see Genesis 3:22) and the tree of the ‘knowledge of good and evil’; This tree
if you observe the context of Genesis two and three is a combination of the
other three trees in verse 9, see Genesis 3:6.
Devotional: Since the fall Adam and Eve, mankind
has always sought to mix his or her human works with the work of God; this is
called ‘religion’! Time and time again God has hit the ‘reset button’ so to
speak. Beginning with driving man out to the Garden and currently with the
crucifixion of the Son of God. God the Father rejects all good and evil
attempts of man who seeks God’s favor apart from “Thus says the LORD”.
God
established faith through the nation Israel, founded in father Abraham. Abraham’s
faith in God did not wavier but the children of Abraham waivered when the
leaders of Judaism piled burdens of human works (fruits) on the children, works
that they could not bear (Matthew 7:15-20 and 12:33-37). As a result, Jesus is
confronting Abraham’s descendants (John 8:37-59) who are of the seed of Satan,
notice John 8:44, and they continued in their father’s will and sought to kill
their Messiah.
“He who is of God, hears God’s Words; therefore, you do not hear,
because you are not of God.” John
8:47. Jesus is the way, notice: “Come to Me, all you
who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you
and LEARN of Me, for I am gentile and lowly in heart, and you will find REST
for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew
11:28-30.
