A Daily Devotional – Personal Faith – Personal Meditation (5)

Comment: If we seek to love God by any human measure, we are off to a bad start! Well, let me explain; does God love the world He created, with a faulty love, or is it a perfect love? Would we desire the love of God to be conditional, or would we rather for it to be unconditional? Of course! Your answers to these questions ought to be yes. Why? God is LOVE; 1 John 4:17-19 explains His love and explains our response. Having received Christ by personal faith, God’s love is being made perfect in us. Why? That we may have boldness in the day of judgment. Why again? Because as He is, so are we to be in this world. Again why? Perfected love, will cast out ‘all’ fear, because fear causes torment. Those who fear are not yet made perfect in God’s love. Understanding that He “first” loved us is the #1 prerequisite to be perfected in the love of God.

Devotional: Romans 5:8 – But God demonstrates (that is; to show by proof) His “own” love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. The suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son; demonstrates (proves) God’s love to the world. Those who willingly reject this proof, will not see the kingdom of God. God’s kingdom is a kingdom of His Love. It is not a kingdom of human love.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again (literally, born from above), he cannot SEE the kingdom of God. John 3:3; as Jesus spoke to Nicodemus, He also speaks today, Romans 5:8 – But God demonstrates (that is; to show by proof) His “own” love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. This is not spiritualizing scripture in anyway, it is literal, we either walk in the light of this truth or we walk in the darkness of the lie of the devil.

This light has come into the world because Jesus came, died for the sins of the world and rose again. He did this for the world, but especially for those who have or will believe in Him. Everyone who continues to do evil hates, the hate the light of God’s love, because the love of God exposes the evil, which they willingly do. But those who come to the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly observed because their deeds are done in the love of God.
