A Daily Devotional – Light – The Eternal Word

Comment: Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cause Your anger toward us to cease. Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all generations? Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, LORD, and grant us Your salvation (deliverance). I will hear what God the LORD will speak, For He will speak peace To His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly. Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land. Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed. Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yes, the LORD will give what is good; And our land will yield its increase. Righteousness will go before Him, and shall make His footsteps our pathway. If you are given to pray for your country, may I suggest this excerpt from Psalm 85:4-13, a Psalm of the Sons of Korah.

Devotional: Who is the LORD? The person who does not have the answer can be found in the highest office of leadership, note; Exodus 5:2 – And Pharaoh said, "Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go." Any country that fails to KNOW the LORD will suffer with ‘idolatry and immorality’ but; there can be revival. The LORD is the Everlasting God, His power is revealed in the HOLY BIBLE, check out Psalm 19:1-6, This Truth is readily available to anyone who will believe by faith that the Entirety of His Word. His Word is Truth. Begin to believe with the middle section of this Psalm, Psalm 19:7-11. Then take in to account the error of your ways with the remainder of the Psalm 19:12-14. Also see Psalm 119:160. God’s Word is True from the beginning of time.

Genesis 1:3 – Then God said, “Let there be light” and there was light. In this God made by the power of His Word light, it was good and God divided the light from the darkness. This is the creating power of Almighty God to Create the natural source of light we have today.

John 1:1-4 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. This is the creating power of Almighty God to Create the True source of light we have today.

Allow your soul to think (meditate) on these two verses. God’s source of ‘light’ is His WORD, it is not in this sense the sun, moon and stars which were spoken into existence in Genesis 1:14-19. With this in mind; read John 1:14-18 and 1 John 1:1-4. Individually and nationally; any nation who follows the True Light will see Mercy and Truth meet, they will KNOW Righteousness and peace. BUT that nation MUST PRAY FOR THIS revival in the entirety of Truth. God needs nothing to produce this LIGHT since Revelation 22:1-5 reveals that this Light is God, Himself.
